Newcastle have reportedly increased their bid to £50m for Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga. Newcastle had

previously had a bid in the region of £45m rejected by Forest, but have now

made a new bid to the Owls via an intermediary worth around £50m.

Elanga’s contract includes a clause which will see Forest pay United a 20 per cent fee. Which is a factor in the negotiations. The Magpies are

yet to give up on the 23-year-old and the £50m offer includes add-ons, สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ but Forest are keen to keep hold of Nuno Espirito Santo’s key man. Newcastle

are hoping to make progress this week. And will look elsewhere if no deal is reached, with the transfer window now down to Eddie Howe, head of recruitment Steve Nickson and his right-hand man Andy Howe following the departure of sporting director Paul Mitchell.

It has also been reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also interested in Elanga, giving Forest more power to decide. The

Swedish international still has a long contract until 2028, causing Forest to set a high price as they themselves are also keen to fend off other teams in order to have players to use when going to play in European football.
