VfB Stuttgart have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion for the permanent signing of Germany international football striker Deniz Undav.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany reports that Stuttgart have agreed a fee with Brighton & Hove Albion for Undav, worth €30m plus add-ons.UFABET

Personal terms are unlikely to be a problem, Undav will sign a three-year contract, until at least 2027. If he passes a medical.

Brighton had previously rejected an initial offer from Stuttgart, as they had no intention of selling Undav in the summer transfer window. Following the arrival of new head coach Fabian Herzeler, also from Germany.

Undav joined Brighton in 2022 and has scored eight goals in 30 games in all competitions since his first season. But has only started six Premier League games, often coming on as a substitute for Danny Welbeck and Evan Ferguson.

This is the reason why Brighton agreed to let Undav go on loan to Stuttgart for the 2023-24 season. He exploded in form, scoring 19 goals in 33 games in all competitions. Making his first appearance for the German national team this year at the age of 28.

Also on Tuesday, Stuttgart confirmed the signing of midfielder Yannik Keitel on a free transfer from Freiburg, where the 24-year-old had risen to the first team from the academy.
