Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the permanent signing of Viking striker Jørgen Strand Larsen after joining from Celta Vigo on loan last season.

The Norway international scored 14 Premier League goals last season, a club record for a first-year player.

The Wolves have now exercised their £23million option to buy the player on a permanent basis until 2029.

He spoke to the club website about the signing:

“I’m proud of what I’ve done. I’ve been able to take the steps quite a bit earlier than I’ve done before. Previously, when I moved to a new country, เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง I needed more time to get into it and score goals.

“As a striker, the team need you to score the goals and be on the end of the crosses, so to score 14 goals – and come back after my injuries and a little dip in form – it was a good season for me in that respect.

“Since Vitor and his staff came in, I scored eight goals, and seven goals in seven or eight games, so it was a good end to the season, and as a team we progressed in a really good way for next season.”

The striker has signed a four-year deal.

“It’s been a great first season in the Premier League,” Strand Larsen said.

“I’m proud of what I’ve done. I’ve come here a lot quicker than I’ve ever been. Before, when I moved to a new country, I had to take some time to settle in and score goals. “

As a striker, the team needs you to score goals and be in the position to pass the ball, so to score 14 goals and come back from injury and a bit of a dip in form, that’s a good season for me.”
